Hi, I’m Karen
Provisional Psychologist
I believe that every individual is unique, and that every relationship is unique. The process of therapy is highly collaborative and with this attitude I bring to therapy positive regard, warmth and empathy for the client’s integrity and individual experience as we work together to move through life’s difficulties to restore balance.
I work from a strength and values-based approach, providing a safe environment to explore and challenge thoughts, feelings and behaviour, to assist clients to develop self-awareness, resilience and tools to live in alignment with themselves and within their relationships.
I take a person-centred and humanistic approach, practicing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Models.
