I am passionate about individuals learning strategies that bring about meaningful change to their lives.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is key, and both the therapist and the client have important roles. My role is to use my skills, knowledge and experience to support your self-discovery and teach you skills to bring about the change you want to achieve. Your role is to commit to therapy sessions, be open to exploring, identifying, and challenging unhelpful pattenrs. I like to work together at your pace, and provide a safe and non-judgemental environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Masters of Professional Psychology - Deakin University
Bachelor of Psychological Science Honours - Australian College of Applied Psychology
Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science - Australian College of Applied Psychology
Bachelor of Business in Human Resources and Industrial Relations - University of Tasmania
My experiences include working with schema therapy, as well as working in private practice sector, with over 25 years as a senior human resource professional across industries including fire and rescue services, retail, health, construction, and resources. This background equips me to provide clients with the toosl to navigate career and work related goals.
